Baltimore City is proud to feature more than 4,000 acres of parkland and public space. Within our city borders, there are over 94,000 street trees and 28,000 park trees. Visitors can take a peaceful walk in the woods on the back roads of Druid Hill Park, sit quietly and watch birds by the lake at Patterson Park or play a relaxing round of golf in Clifton, Carroll, and Forest parks. Our smaller community parks provide areas to meet and greet your neighbors. There’s something for everyone - senior artists who enjoy painting quietly by a fountain, the young urban professionals who are interested in biking or hiking the trails, as well as the youth ball players who hit the courts daily.
